ARTICLE ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH EDUCATION CAREER FAIR IN NORWAY.

Young people across the world are studying and most of them never knew what they want to become, what to do, or what career they should take, this creates problem in terms of career selection. With this I happen to visit the career education fair in Norway that is held every year for the young high school teenagers in SØrlandshallen in Kristiansand, Norway.

The education career fair makes selection of education easier. This fair is facilitated by the country's school advisers and should be a good guide for young people who choose education. Education & Career guidance measures offers a wide range of opportunities for students and study seekers across the country.

Normally it had over 100 Exhibitors across different fields of studies, organised in a big hall and each exhibitor had his/her portion in this hall where they displayed their studies. Students could move around each asking questions, advises on different careers such as Construction and civil engineering, Design and crafts, Media and communication, Restaurant and food production, Art design and architecture, Music and dancing, Farming, Nursing among others. Therefore, young teenagers who visits this exhibition gets information which enable them to choose wisely.

I believe that most leaders will find it interesting to reshape graduates across different fields of studies to meet the country’s and young people’s career needs better with this kind of strategy and ensure Universities’ vital role in the nations steady progress towards a knowledge-based society. Therefore, a need for countries like Uganda to borrow this kind of setting and need to engage more students and stakeholders to appreciate education for young children for a better country’s future young stars.
